Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 23, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how payments for services provided by Ceaser & Associates Financial Firm LLC are handled. This policy applies to tax preparation, bookkeeping, tax software, consultations, reviews, amendments, prior-year services, and other paid services unless a separate written agreement or service-specific policy states otherwise.
Section 1 — Tax Preparation Fees
Tax preparation fees are charged for professional services performed, including review, preparation, analysis, communication, document processing, compliance work, and related professional time. Once substantial tax preparation work has begun, fees may become non-refundable because professional services have already been performed.
If a client cancels before substantial work begins, any refund eligibility will depend on:
• Work already completed
• Time already spent
• Third-party costs already incurred
• Processing fees
• Applicable engagement agreement terms
Refund eligibility, if any, is determined based on the specific circumstances of the engagement and the amount of work already performed.
Section 2 — Completed or Filed Tax Returns
Fees for completed tax returns are generally not refundable after the return has been prepared and the service has been substantially completed. Once a tax return has been electronically filed or otherwise submitted with the client’s authorization, tax preparation fees are generally non-refundable.
Dissatisfaction with a tax refund amount, tax balance due, credit eligibility, IRS adjustment, state adjustment, processing delay, offset, or other tax outcome does not automatically create eligibility for a refund of professional preparation fees.
